Sermon: God’s Heart – My Heart

  1. The heart is the centre of who we are

  2. The heart is the wellspring of life (Prov 4:23, Jer 17:9)

  3. Promise of the new covenant is a new heart (Jer 24: 7, Jer 31:33, Ezk 36:26)

  4. God’s heart is a heart of compassion (Ex 34:6; Luke 7:13; Matt 9:36 Matt 15:32)

  5. God’s compassion is part of His covenantal promise

  6. How do we get His heart?

  • Come to Jesus as you are Matt 11:28
  • Get rid of your judging heart Matt 7:1
  • Celebrate your belovedness  Matt 3:17
