Weekly Message: Receive The End Of Your Faith

In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, 7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, 8 whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, 9 receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls. (I Peter 1:6-9)

Whatever the trial, remember that pressure is a voice that first invites, then demands you conform to it. It demands you think like it (pressure) thinks. Yielding to pressure, for a minute or a day, has its reward—namely, more pressure.

The Word of Almighty God has final authority in any trial. So resist pressure and it’s demand to disbelieve the Lord and His Word. Speak to the mountain and “it” will obey you. Do it – speak! Your words define borders and establish the boundary of your peace. You say how it will be. Your voice is the trump card!

Now—presently—faith always speaks. Faith does work because you think it. Faith works because you say it. Faith is a speaker.

In the process and all along the way – beginning to end, you are kept by the power of God. Discern the Spirit. See clearly. Patiently move in the direction of God’s promised outcome. Don’t be impatient. Stay with it. Don’t give up. Don’t feel sorry for yourself. Don’t whine.

Instead, receive the end of your faith! Amen, the end is better!
