Weekly Message: The Son of God

Who has believed our report and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?” (Is 53:1)

I have just completed 2 seminars at the Ellel KL/Klang Valley Center this week. Both seminars touched on God as Father. Right in the beginning, God has intended man to enjoy Him as Father. Sin has distorted all that and made it impossible for man to enter into that kind of relationship. God needed to send His Son, to extend His arm to rescue us from that sorry state of being cut off from the blessings of the Father. Through His Son, He extended His hand of fellowship to man, His help, His wisdom and His strength.

“The Son of God, our Lord Jesus Christ, submitted to His Father’s plan and today we are delivered from darkness, plague and every impossibility, receiving instead the strong arm of the Lord—the strength of the LORD working through us to make all things possible. “

  • arm – arm, especially a forearm; arm, power, shoulder, holpen (help), mighty, strength
  • revealed – to uncover, remove, to discover or show oneself, to be uncovered, be disclosed, nakedness, make known, show, reveal

Isaiah’s prophecy and its fulfillment affirm God’s redemptive plan. The Son glorified the Father. He obeyed even unto the death of the cross. God extended His arm to make a way for man and Isaiah prophesied Messiah’s suffering that would deliver humanity from suffering.”

During this 40 days of seeking the Lord’s face, let us also seek His strong arm to rescue us from whatever circumstance that needs rescuing.
