When God is Silent
A) Biblical Examples:
- Abraham and Sarah (Genesis 15-18, 21)– It leads us to trust and obedience
- Hannah (1 Samuel 1)– It leads us to the place of dedication
- Lazarus, Mary and Martha (John 11)– It leads us to a different place
- Paul (Acts 16)– It leads us to another direction
- Jesus Christ (Matthew 26:36-38)– It leads to God’s salvation
B) What to do?
- Be still and know that the Lord is God (Psalm 46:10)
- Confess known sins (1 John 1:9)
- Faith in Jesus Christ (Galatians 2:20)
- Make godly choices (Proverbs 8:10)
- Trust the Lord (Proverbs 3:5)
- Be watchful and thankful (Colossians 4:2)
- Rejoice in the Lord always (Philippians 4:4)
