  • Welcome Him into our heart and not only into our home
  • Be His disciple
  • Let Him do something for us before we do something for Him

  1. Spirit of Martha or spirit of Mary?

  • When we are distracted we cannot hear Him speak
  • The spirit of Martha is one which is distracted and anxious
  • We need to make deliberate effort to hear Jesus speaking into our lives
  • The spirit of Mary is seeking and desiring the presence of Jesus first and foremost, above all things
