Words by our Priest-in-Charge:
Panic Attack
In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you. Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me. Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake. (Isaiah 54:14-15)
The experience of being panicked beyond control is real. Physical sweats and rapid heart rate coupled with a sense of terror result when fear of what cannot be controlled reaches the human brain. Fear and terror produce chemical changes in the body and create an imbalance. The experience can be devastating.
Panic is not from God – there is no fear in Him. The fear base of panic comes from torments based in the accumulation of every fear recorded in your character, occurring all at the same time! Satan is behind all extreme and uncontrollable fear and all torment – he takes advantage of vulnerable situations to capture precious people in this downward spiral.
The mind clears itself by releasing information we allow to be stored there back over to us; that information becomes our reality and we respond with one of two (opposite) approaches: What we believe about fear’s power to control us; or, what we disbelieve about God’s love and His power to heal us of every fear.
God’s compassion is heightened for anyone suffering panic, whatever the cause! Allow His compassion to flood you . . . cooperate with Him to receive deliverance for your whole spirit, soul and body.
