From Common to Noble
1. Jesus changed water into wine

- When Jesus revealed His glory, He reveals His deity and begin His journey towards the Cross
- Mary’s request was marked with confidence that Jesus would attend to the situation, though not necessarily expecting a miracle – trusting Jesus would answer our petition
2. The common
- That which is what man makes out to be; characterized by self effort and attainable within man’s expectation
- The common is represented by the law and the Old Covenant, while it contains the truth, it serves as a pointer to the Truth, the Messiah
- Leviticus 23:4
3. The Noble
- Speaks of value and purpose when there is an identity change resulted from the encounter with Jesus
- The change is on the inside and could not be brought about by self effort but the work of God through the Holy Spirit
