- Jesus heals by bringing the one who needs healing to recognize his own needs
- Jesus heals by meeting the person in a personal encounter – though the person does not fully understand who Jesus is
2. Healing and the Father’s Heart
- Every healing that Jesus did was in accordance with the Father’s Heart desire
- The primary purpose of Jesus heals is to bring us back to the Father and therefore every healing of Jesus is personal
- Jesus heals the lame man to demonstrate that He is the Promised Messiah and sent to save the world by bringing us into a Covenant with God
