Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life

The seventh sign : Raising Lazarus from the dead  (John 11:38-57)

1. Sin gives birth to death.

•  Death came from the choice of rebelling God, which is sin, in it judgement comes. Gen 2:17
• For man to be delivered from the power of death, Jesus the Son of God humbly lowered Himself to become man, by His death He might destroy the devil that had the power of death. By His resurrection He shows the power of Life. Heb 2:14-15
• Without Jesus, man’s future is hopeless. This is an unchanged ending, because it is the  wages of sin. Rom 6:23
• John 11：38

2. I am the Resurrection, I am the Life

• Jesus shows who He is through His own work—the Son of the ever living  God.
• John 11：25-26
• Those who believe in Jesus, will receive the life He gives that death will not overcome it.

3. Do you believe this ?

• John 11：39-40
• Man can be limited by circumstances but God is above all. In faith accepting what God is doing, will see His glory. For nothing is impossible for God.
