Breaking Forth into Our Destiny

1. The Church in Victory

“And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” Matthew 16:18

  • When individual disciple of Jesus live a victorious life, the Church is in Victory

2. The Destiny of our Church

“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?

I will even make a way in the wilderness,and rivers in the desert.

The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls:

because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert,

to give drink to my people, my chosen.This people have I formed for myself;

they shall shew forth my praise.” Isaiah 43:18-21

3. The Destiny of our Church

  • Learn from the past, build on the lessons, but do not live in the past
  • God will do His will in a new way
  • He will bring life where there is none in a supernatural way
  • His people will first and foremost receive His nourishment and nurture
  • He will reaffirm our identity and our call
  • It is to ultimately make His glory known

4. The contention against us…

  • There is contention in the spirit realm to prevent us from entering into our destiny, individual and corporate

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”  Ephesians 6:12

  • The weapon of our warfare…

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4

  • We wage spiritual warfare in prayers
  • Prayer is connecting us to the source of all we need in life – God
