And He said to them, ” Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” – Mark 16:15
Sometimes certain world events happen or some prominent persons appear on the world scene, they could bring about tremendous impact on mankind. These are world changing events or people. When Jesus came into this world, by the time He ascended into heaven, He has left behind a “World Changer” – the Church, till He comes again. The Church is called many names – Body of Christ, Christ Ambassadors, etc. The gospel message and all that it represents affects the whole creation.
“The Church views the world with divine perspective—believers see the horizon as God sees it. With a conviction of God’s heart for the world the Church sees something very different from business and government as usual.
As the Church, we guard our worldview to maintain a right perspective concerning our nation and neighbors in other nations. God calls us to account. Prophetically He calls on His Body to choose conviction over convenience.
We are His people – Spirit-filled, bold, decisive, and wise. As stewards of the Church’s presence, we believe God gives to us ever-changing strategies that shift the culture and change the world for the better.
When the Church’s Spirit-call is prioritized, outward views change, spiritual growth with maturity follows, and vibrant, genuine spirit-life is the norm.” (Adopted from Shirley Weaver’s Daily Devotional)
When the power of the gospel permeates into the life of the Church, the Church is a mighty World Changer!
