And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace. And the Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward.”
When the Israelites were coming out from Egypt, they knew where they were supposed to go, and they knew where they were not supposed to be – in Egypt. They knew that their God is leading them out to the land He has promised to give to their forefathers. The problem: the journey has become impossibly difficult!
In every situation, remember a path is already opened for you, a solution already arranged. Ignore any advice that isn’t aligned with this hope. Ignore anything that falls below the standard of Christ in you… your hope!
It may take minutes or hours, possibly months or years, but do not step back or lose heart concerning the foundation laid and the down payment made on your behalf, ahead of time. Both will hold!
Stay focused. Don’t waiver. Draw courage from within. Extend your hand in every way you can and don’t withhold anything. Give your best. Sow and reap at the same time! Head up, shoulders back.

As you move into this new year, continue on the path that God has marked out for you. He will grant you the fulfilment of His promises, but you have a responsibility on your part: don’t stop, move forward!
