DAY 26
Love Unparalleled

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
Romans 8:32

In the world we live in today, promises are made everyday, and often they are unfulfilled or broken. “Words are cheap!”, the realists say. In some rare instances, certain manufacturers would give ‘lifetime warranty’ for some parts of the products. These warranties of course, have their limitation as well.

The God who has freely given us the greatest gift that mankind could ever imagine or receive, His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, is the God who keeps all His promises. From the moment man sinned against God in the Garden of Eden, He has planned to redeem mankind from the bondages and snares of sin. He promised salvation throughout the Old Testament for mankind, giving hope to the world. He has indeed fulfilled each promise He made to save man, true to His word. His word is certainly not cheap.

The most amazing part is this: He not only fulfilled His promise by giving to us the most precious gift He could give, He gave Himself to us. He also “guaranteed” with His unfailing word that He will give us all things in this life, and in the life to come. He also promised to take care of us for life. It simply means that after He has fulfilled His promise, He gave us a life-time warranty for His unfailing love towards us!

How amazing our Father’s love is towards us! It is incomprehensible. It is unfathomable. It is unparalleled. As we remember and reflect upon the love of our Heavenly Father, let us express our gratitude to Him, through whom we have life, hope and purpose. Let us bind ourselves to Him, as He binds Himself to us. Let us seek to live out a life that will do Him proud!

PRAYER FOCUS
Give thanks to the Lord for His love towards us. Thank and appreciate all those around us through whom God demonstrated His love in a practical way. Ask the Lord to use as channel of communicating His love to those around us as well.
